ويعمل ايضاً على تقسيم او تجزئة ال ip الى شبكات فرعية والحد الاقصى هو 64 شبكة فرعية، كل شبكة فرعية تحتوي على حجم البلوك وعدد ال ip التي يمكن استخدامها والكثير من التفاصيل.
